Some missing values leave signs before they become obvious. Use these signals to decide whether to open a receipt.

school signals

  • A class appears on the old transcript but not in the new portal.
  • A requirement is marked missing even after transcript delivery.
  • An office says another department owns the decision.

money signals

  • A final statement was never received after moving out.
  • A refund check may have been mailed to an old address.
  • An old account closed but no final balance was confirmed.

work signals

  • Final pay, benefit, or retirement paperwork was never confirmed.
  • A provider changed after employment ended.
  • A plan custodian is mentioned but not identified.

record signals

  • A denial, appeal, or correction depends on a document you do not have.
  • A bill or report appears under a prior address or account.
  • A phone call gave an answer but no written confirmation.
